Al Crise Day II - A Charitable Event

Saturday, February 19
9:00am - 5:00pm
Dinosaur State Park, Glen Rose, TX
This event, hosted by the Fort Worth Fly Fishers, is held in honor of the late Al Crise, or Ol' Al as he called himself. Al was a gifted teacher to youth and adults alike, a tireless proponent of the sport of fly fishing, an advocate for the FFF, and a leader in the field of therapeutic fly fishing. Al was instrumental in helping the Gulf Coast Council become a reality. He served as an advisor to the Council, served as Casting Chair for our early conclaves, and promoted the GCC on both a regional and national level.
The Fort Worth Fly Fishers will be having this event in his honor to raise funds for two great organizations, Reel Recovery and Casting For Recovery. There will be a lunch served, and there will be activities throughout the day. There's also a raffle, live auction, casting lessons and games, and much more. For full details of this event, go to the FWFF webpage.
